Clos Savoiroux Park

This park is very rich in tree and shrub varieties, with vast lawns and very fine conifers. In the upper part of the park is a bronze statue of Jean-Jacques Rousseau, with the quotation: "Here began the brief happiness of my life".

Located on the foothills of the hill of Lémenc, the park was created in 1910 by the landscaper Luizet. There's notably a very beautiful Lebanon cedar, big blue cedars from the Atlas and a wonderful purple beech. It is there also that we can found the war memorial of Chambéry.
