Moulin Morand
Description
Located at the Pont d'Arith, near Nant de St-François, this building was created in 1896. Although it is commonly known as a sawmill, this multi-purpose structure actually serves as a sawmill, apple press and nut press.
The building contains 2 bucket wheels, one for the sawmill and one for the circular saw and press. After World War II, it appears that the two Morand brothers owned the property. The owner has spent several years restoring the property and its machines, with the aim of making the sawmill and hydraulic mill work again.
