Chambéry International Comics Festival

2nd oldest and 3rd most important Comics Festival in France, it has become over the years an major event in the world of comics, recognized for its friendliness with authors and its audience. The 2023 Guest of Honor is Miss Prickly.

The Chambéry Savoie Comics Festival has become known as a festival of authors, who are chosen and invited individually by the organising committee. Every year, some 60 authors from all over France, Europe and sometimes other continents come to the festival, bringing with them the very essence of what the festival has been about for over 40 years: talent, creativity, originality, poetry... It's these authors that visitors come to meet first and foremost, looking forward to a chat, a wink, a few kind and often humorous words, a "pat on the back" and, of course, the precious signing session! The list of participating authors is available on the festival website (subject to change at short notice). You'll be able to get your comics and graphic novels signed in the Convention Centre and in the marquee set up for the occasion. Meetings, exhibitions, comic book battles, sound comics, master classes... a whole host of events are planned. Reduced price: 6 € (1-day pass for students and people with reduced mobility (on presentation of proof)), 1 day pass: 8 €, 2 days pass: 10 €, 3 days pass: 12 €, Family pass: 14 € (1-day pass for a couple or a single parent with child(ren) under 11 years old). Free entry for children < 11 years.
