Cycling up Col de Plainpalais

Departing from the center of Chambéry, the ascent of the pass starts just outside St Alban Leysse and runs steadily through the villages of St Jean d'Arvey and Les Déserts, where the view of the Margériaz accompanies you all the way to the summit.
