La Grande Traversée

Between meadows and forest in La Féclaz and Saint François de Sales through the Plainpalais pass.

Start from the foyer at Saint-François-de-Sales. Turn right down the pink track towards "Les Mermets". At the "Rocheray" sign, turn right towards the D128. Go down the carriageway for 120m to cross to the forest track. Turn left at the "Les Mermets" sign. Go down towards La Magne and fork left towards "Rocheray", then straight on towards the St-François-de-sales cross-country skiing centre. From Les Mermets, you can return to La Féclaz on the same route. This is an extra 6.5 km and takes around 2? hours.
